Troop 77 - Guadalupe River Whitewater Adventure - 2002

When: Friday, May 24 through Monday, May 27, 2002
Where: Guadalupe River State Park
 Route: From Lago Vista, west on FM 1431 to Marble Falls, south on U.S. 281 to 6 miles past Spring Branch, west on TX 46, north on Park Rd 31 to park.
Campsites: We have two "walk-in" campsites reserved (reservation #'s 212-6331 & 6332).  One site is for Scouts.  The other site is for Scouters.  These sites have only water and picnic tables.
Activities: We will take our kayaks and bring family canoes to explore long sections of the Guadalupe.  So bring your life jackets (PFDs).  Fishing, swimming, and exploring will also be done.  This is an excellent opportunity for Scouts to finish advancement requirements.  Scouts are required to do their own cooking and meal preparation for this event.
Uniform:

Travel and do activities in Class A or B uniform.

Cost: $7.50 per person.
